The Empress Shangri-La pen is set on a calming Midori Urushi background with lotus flowers in various stages of bloom. The exceptional Rankaku application on the lotus flowers and the Raden depicting the cascading water, creates a serene and peaceful design. Holding this exceptional piece of art transports you to an enchanting pond in early summers, humming with the tranquil sound of water and dragonflies and shimmering in the early morning light.
The Empress Shangri-La Maki-e LE pen is fitted with an exceptional King of Pen 18K gold nib and is limited to only 20 fountain pens worldwide.
The pen fills with either a proprietary Sailor converter or Sailor ink cartridges; both are included.
