This collection not only represents their dedication to honored traditions, but also as a celebration of TACCIA's roots, founded by their matriarch. Experienced Maki-e artisans hand-laid the unique Maki-e technique, Raden and Rankaku on each hand polished ebonite barrel, that takes several months to complete. Each TACCIA Empress LE pen is fitted with a significant 18K gold "King of Pen" nib, made in Japan exclusively for TACCIA.
This limited edition TACCIA Empress Double Dragons fountain pen is enhanced with exquisite maki-e designs of dragons with beautiful colors of red, black and gold.
It is fitted with an exceptional King of Pen 18K gold nib, and is limited to only 18 fountain pens worldwide. The clipless pen fills with either a proprietary Sailor converter or Sailor ink cartridges; both are included.
