on saleMonteverde Iced Cookie - 30ml Bottled Ink

I originally got a sample of the Monteverde Iced Cookie with my initial fountain pen, I loved it so much I decided to get more of it when I was running low, I've been writing with this for a little bit now, though I'm still using my first pen, and I've only tried two inks so far, so I'm maybe not the best one to look to for advice. Loving this ink so far though! Certainly works smoother than the other ink I've tried, the India Ink I tried in my second pen was feet wet, and the pen kept getting gummed up, they are the same model pen, so I'm pretty sure that it was the ink, on the other side, Monteverde's Iced Cookie has not had ANY noticeable issues and I'd say it works wonders! Still not sure what water resistance is, so I'll just rate it medium, and I quite liked the fraction of a second it took to dry, even when doubling over a line you could see that shading as it dried!

My favorite shade of ink. Others like it as well. A deep blue-green with good contrast, it looks good on either white or ivory paper.

Has good read back, I really liked the dark shade of the ink. However doesn't shade much and with a M Opus88 the ink spread out so much that I had to write very large letters to make them clearly readable. An e or an a or an o just closed up in its shape and became illegible. Glad that I only bought a sample.

To open a bottle of ink Guess... very hard, like very very hard. The ink is not my style, too light I prefer something more concentrate, here we have a very light blue grey ... or maybe my nib wasn't wet enough, but still in my Waterman Concorde it was really hard to have a dark color.

Received my pen rather quickly. Loved my pen and how it wrote!
