This limited edition, sparkling translucent blue resin pocket-sized fountain pen is the Esterbrook JR, short for "J Reborn". A modern take on a vintage classic, it is complemented by gold-plated trim. It fills via standard international cartridge/converter (included) and has a gold-plated JoWo #5 stainless steel nib.
From Esterbrook:
In music, a fantasia is a mixing of styles that create a cohesive piece. It’s a blending of seemingly nonobvious forms that create a symphony that can be appreciated, enjoyed, or even hated. But, it evokes a strong emotion, like all great art.
And, really, is writing so different?
Many of us compose our own masterpieces on paper every day. We take from one source and cut, paste, rip, and tear to build something harmonious, seemingly out of nothing. And then, just when it’s about finished, we leave a little blank space to write our own story. And yes, this often evokes strong emotions, too.
The new Limited Edition Fantasia JR lets you improve and innovate any way you want to the beat of your own drum.
The “J” was the original Esterbrook’s sleek and suave, classic 1940’s and 50’s pocket pen that appealed to the practicality of the times. It was the perfect pen for both men and women, and we think it still is today. Our new “JR” model, introduced as part of our revival of the Esterbrook brand and added to our core line of collections, is stylish and refined without being too fancy. It’s meant to match your style, as nicely as it graces your hand. With an elegant design, that isn’t fussy, it is compact in size, so you can always have one on hand and with you on the go, wherever you go.
Both the German JoWo nib and the top of the pen have been engraved with the Esterbrook Eternity symbol.
