This Edison Collier pen is made of a smooth rounded blue resin with swirls of white, with a silver clip and a JoWo #6 polished steel nib engraved with the Edison logo. It accepts a standard international converter (included) or short standard international cartridges.

All Edison pens are handmade in Milan, Ohio by Brian Gray. We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, expect some variation in the pattern from what you see here.

We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, there will be some variation in the pattern seen here. This adds an element of uniqueness to the pen, with no two patterns being exactly the same. We cannot honor special requests.

Note: Edison is in the process of updating their nib designs; our stock is currently mixed and what you receive may or may not match what is pictured. We are unable to honor special requests.

Love Love Love it

While I was afraid this pen would be too big when it first arrived, I’ve discovered it’s perfect! I am getting a little older so not having to grip tight is nice. The pen is so beautiful and writes so smooth, I feel marvelous using it. You won’t go wrong considering this as your new go to pen!

Fabulous pen

This is my first Edison pen, and a birthday present to myself thanks to a gift card from my family. I got the medium nib and the pen is both beautiful and a fabulous writer - extremely smooth. The pen is light which is a nice change from my heavier metal pens. Highly recommended.

The pen I know would be great as I have a few already. The color is great. A beauty. I'm sure I'll get more.

Gorgeous Pen, Great Valentine's Gift

I gave this pen to my husband for Valentine's Day this year. He loves it. He writes with it almost every day. In fact, he took it to his pen club meeting the other night. He said of all his pens, this was the one his pen club peers liked the best. This is a gorgeous pen that writes well. Also, Goulet customer service was excellent, as always.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use this pen with ink cartridges? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A cartridge is small, disposable, sealed plastic reservoir that holds fountain pen ink. These come pre-filled with ink, and typically you just push to insert them into place and you'll be ready to write!

This pen uses standard international ink cartridges, a common size which is available in many colors from various brands.

You can learn more about how to actually install an ink cartridge on our blog, or in this video tutorial:

How do I use a converter? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A converter goes in the place of where the ink cartridge would normally go. From there, you can fill your fountain pen from bottled ink.

A converter is a detachable and refillable ink reservoir that allows you to use bottled ink in a cartridge-accepting pen. Typically you will install the converter into the grip section, dip the nib/feed into the ink, and twist or pull the converter knob to draw ink into the converter.

We have a great video showing how to use a converter here:

How do I clean this fountain pen? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

It mostly comes down to flushing out the pen with water, and sometimes a little bit of pen flush if the ink is really stuck.

We put together a blog post with step-by-step instructions, or you can watch the video here:

We recommend a good cleaning every 2 weeks, and any time you change ink colors. Water will usually do the trick, but we recommend you use our Goulet Pen Flush if the ink has been left in the pen for a while and could have dried up, or when you’re switching ink colors.

For even more information about fountain pen cleaning, check out our Fountain Pen 101 video blog post.
