switched up to this for a day on a whim, it's now my daily. writes well with a pilot metro stubby, very little issues with start-up. most user friendly sheen/shimmer ink i've ever used, and the subtle red shimmer over deep blue/purple is superb. drops one start because although it dries fairly quickly, it seems to hate water; even a day later it'll smear

I am really enjoying using Diamine Ruby Blue ink. So far, I have used it in my TWSBI Eco pen with a broad nib and found it to have interesting subtle shading. Next, I plan to use it in a fine point pen I have to see how the ink behaves in it. I also want to try it with a variety of papers.

I was in a hurry for a lovely shade of blue. I didn't realize this was a sheening ink until I received it. I changed which pen I put it in and it's lovely. I've been writing letters with it and it flows beautifully from Kaweco with a broad nib.
