Visconti is pleased to present the latest addition to the Mythos collection: Poseidon.
Greek mythology teaches that the Olympian gods are immortal beings, governing the life and death of human beings. Meet the latest Visconti Mythos, Poseidon, the protector of seafarers and the guardian of many Hellenic cities and colonies.
The Poseidon pen is a stunning example of Visconti's design philosophy. The dark sea blue resin captures the essence of the deep sea, where Poseidon was believed to dwell and rule over the waves and storms. In coordination with the dark color of the resin, for the first time in the collection, features a ruthenium nib and trims. Both the pen's body and trims are sandblasted to create an elegant contemporary feel to the design.
This pen is a perfect inspiration for artists and writers who can channel this muse as they enjoy expressing themselves with this beautiful deep blue Mythos.
The Poseidon pen is a perfect choice for anyone who loves the sea, mythology or simply appreciates a fine writing instrument.
The cap elegantly closes with a magnetic twist closure, and is accented by brass with Ruthenium in a sandblasted finish trim. The center ring is engraved with the inscription, MYTHOS, and a V to emulate a stylized Mount Olympus.
The pen is completed with a large #6 steel nib with ruthenium finish, made by Schmidt in Germany. A converter is included, and it also accepts standard international short cartridges.
We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, there will be some variation in the pattern seen here. This adds an element of uniqueness to the pen, with no two patterns being exactly the same. We cannot honor special requests.
