Nock Co. and Rickshaw Bagworks have joined forces to bring you a new version of the beloved Nock Co. Sinclair 3-pen and pocket notebook zip case.

This Sinclair R is a Goulet Pens-exclusive design, featuring Rickshaw's DigiPrint™ polyester canvas in solid black on the exterior. The interior is a peacock teal plush. All materials are colorfast and machine washable.

The new Sinclair “Model R” features a number of signature Rickshaw touches. First things first, the supersoft Royal Plush lining is added to the interior. The interior configuration features the same three pen slots on one side, and a single wide slot on the other. Both sides are lined with plush.

Next, the overall dimensions were tweaked to make it “Coozy compatible” — slightly taller, wider and fatter, to accept the Rickshaw size “L” 2-pen and 3-pen plush pen Coozies in the middle. The size of the YKK zippers has been increased from #5 to #8 to make the case slightly fatter for a little extra internal storage capacity. The overall dimensions of the new case are 7.5” x 4.5” x 1.5”.

An outside slash pocket was added, for ready access to a pen and pocket notebook, or convenient stowage of your cell phone or other EDC gear. Finally, color-coordinated paracord zipper pulls were added for a little extra flair on the outside.

The new Sinclair Model R is made in Rickshaw's own sewing shop in San Francisco.

Believe the Hype

I'm late to the Nock Co Sinclair party. Always heard about it. It lives up to the hype - it is simple and effective. Love the Stout Brown/Orange color way. I also bought the Black/Peacock and love it. Feel like these color ways are more towards a professional look.As always, a seamless Goulet transaction.

Well made, well designed

Compact yet still very versatile. I feel my higher end pens are well protected and be used more often because I can safely take them conveniently wherever I go.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was looking for a compact pen case made of something other than leather, and this is the one!! I love how compact it is, and that it is more of a non-fancy vibe. If there is any downside, I would say if you have cats do not get the black color, as it is a cat hair magnet. If you are going to use it as a 3-pen plus notebook and accessories mode, you can fit most pens in there. Since I tend to use it to hold as many of my inked pens as possible, I usually end up putting any Safaris/Al-Stars in the outer flap, because their clips take up a lot of real estate inside the pouch. Do you want to know what I have fit inside the case right now? (Of course you do) In the 3 fitted compartments - currently parked a Conklin All-American, a Lamy Studio, and a Benu Talisman. In the non-segmented compartment is a Kaweco sport, and a TWSBI-ECO. In the open center is another TWSI-ECO in a Galen single sleeve, and a Franklin-Cristoph 55 in its zippered pouch. Although the fabric attracts cat hair, the cats so far have not attempted to knock the entire case onto the floor (unlike their enjoyment of flinging my uncased pens). Overall, the perfect pick for me and my pens.
