Kaweco Liliput Fountain Pen - Copper
The Kaweco Liliput is a tiny fountain pen that when posted transforms into a full-sized pen that easily fits in your hand. This copper fountain pen has a light finish to help postpone the patina that will come with use. It comes with a stainless steel nib and an ink cartridge to get you started writing right away! The cap screws on to the back to post securely, and it accepts short standard international cartridges. Optional clip sold separately.
Note: This pen comes with an ink cartridge stored in the body. If it doesn’t fall right out, you can get it loose by giving the body a few solid taps on a hard surface.

Great pocket pen, sturdy and functional
I have several high end and custom pens and this is my daily driver. This pen goes with me everywhere from meimof journaling, note taking at work, and jotting to do lists before bed. I have small hands so fit isn't a problem. I recommend adding the clip to make it easier to carry. The patina is constantly shifting to shades of blue, green, and golden. It's mesmerizing.
A very nice little pen, perfect as a pocket pen and similar to the Traveler's Company fountain pen, an excellent Japanese fountain pen - you can think of it as the German version with options for nib sizes that you don't get with the Traveler's pen. I'm looking forward to watching the copper develop a patina, but new, it's shiny like a new penny. If you're a journal fan, this pen fits quite well in a Leuchtturm pen loop, which makes spur-of-the-moment journaling a breeze. The fine nib writes smoothly and reliably. Very pleased with this little pen.
I love this pen, not only in how it writes, but the hand feel. My hands are small and so it is an easy fit for writing. As long as my grip is loose, long periods of writing are a breeze.
I love this pen � I grew up as a plumber, so the copper and brass pens always speak to me differently than the plastic pens. For such a small pen, it's heft is satisfying, and its threads inspire a durability that other pens don't. But. Here's the deal: that clip needs soldered on, and it takes about three seconds to do it. Watch any video on copper soldering, and then go even gentler on this cap. Once soldered, the cap becomes actually useful for daily carry. The nib is OK. Posted, the writing experience is alright. But this pen shines for quick annotations and meeting notes � above all, it loves being clipped to the cover of a book, tossed into a bag, and dragged all around for your day.
