Good strong purple. It's a bit dark. I wondered if it would have the same power that Bay State Blue has. Not quite.

I wanted to love this ink. It's a such a gorgeous purple. But I couldn't get past the feathering. Even in my nicer notebooks it had problems. However, the chemist in me had an absolute blast cleaning my pen! My rinse water turned green which was so fun to watch! I can only assume that it's due to the pH being different being than most inks, and when placed in the (likely more acidic) water, it created the color. And now I want to play with making it change (I work in a lab, so I have the materials to do this, lol). I added a picture of the rinse water!

Loved the color. May purchase more later but have many other lovely colors to check out yet. Ink performs well. ThanksNot sure about the answer to a couple of the questions, the water resistance don't try. Not sure what shading is hence my medium answers for those questions.

This ink came out a little thick and spotty, but it was one of the more standard purples. It wasn't what I was looking for when I got it, but it should work for any everyday writing ink.

This ink is a deep, vivid purple. It flows smooth and wet. A nice addition to any collection.
