Kakimori Antique Brass Nib
The antique brass nib was created as a durable and practical nib. The nib point has been rounded and polished with meticulous care, providing an exceptionally smooth writing experience that defies expectation. Enjoy multiple line widths from fine lines to broad strokes with a tilt of the nib.
Drawing inspiration from a century of ageing, our new nib evokes the enduring elegance of time. The antique patina replicates the natural ageing of brass, achieved through an organically derived treatment.
Over time, the patina will gradually wear and evolve through touch as you insert and remove it from the nib holder, revealing the original lustre of the brass beneath.
The nib delivers a sharp writing experience, producing fine lines and letters with consistency. Designed for a 45-degree writing angle and comfortably writes a sentence or two with each dip.
Made to universal specifications to fit all standard nib holders, as well as those from the Kakimori range.

Care instructions:
- If marked with ink, wipe clean with a soft, clean cloth.
- When removing the nib from the nib holder, gently pull it out while turning to avoid dislodging the nib mount.
- After rinsing, shake well in a downward motion to remove any water or ink from the nib mount before inserting a nib.
