Jacques Herbin 1670 Turquoise de Perse - 50ml Bottled Ink
This 50ml bottle of Jacques Herbin 1670 Turquoise de Perse turquoise ink has dazzling gold shimmer. Each bottle cap is hand dipped in sealing wax, with a stamped "1670" seal on the front of the bottle, and is individually packaged in a collector edition box.
Due to the amount of particulate in this ink used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens. We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging. You will also want to be diligent about cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.

As a caveat, I was afraind this ink would be lighter hued than I like; and it is. I guess to say, I got exactly what I ordered, and therefore am not disappointed. Now that we have my "this isn't satisfying my dark turquoise fetish" rant out of the way? This is a delicious ink, and may replace Iroshizukui (sic) as my favorite line of ink (for a hue reference, I'm a Syo-Ro kinda guy). The shimmer is perfect, it has a wet flow, which I like, everything about it up to and inclusive of the wax stamp/waxedlid bottle communicates "exclusve" or "quality" etc. WIll be buying Jacques de Herbin again.
This ink hit my eye as soon as I saw it. Great color and sheen. Pelican makes reliable ink and pens.
Using this ink for the first time I was very satisfied, but a bit surprised with the amount of sheen. No problems with it in my pens so far. So glad I got it I bought a second bottle as back up.
Love the light shade of this ink. I have certain pens dedicated to Montblanc UNICEF turquoise and I was running low on that color. Having always been a fan of Emerald of Chivor, I decided to pick this one up and couldn’t be happier. Just a lovely shade of it color and the shimmer is an added plus.
