I think this is a beautiful, rich color. If you are looking to get away from the standard blues and blacks, try this.

Surprisingly addictive

This is one of the first inks I bought a full bottle of, and I’m not a fan of reddish inks. This one, though, well I find myself reaching for it all the time. It looks excellent in my TWSBI Eco Saffron color with EF nib and it looks nice in my Hobonichi Techo. The writing experience is smooth, and it dries relatively fast. It’s an excellent choice!

Love this color!

Just a bit more than sepia, yet still understated. I get an antique/classical vibe from this ink. I use it almost exclusively now. Journal entries and letters take on air of interest not found with the pedestrian blues and blacks. While the name “Oxblood” conjures up hecatomes to the immortals.

I received a free sample of this ink a few months ago and loved the color and the way it flows. I purchased the 80ml bottle and almost always have a pen inked with it.

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
