Every so often there are products, pieces of art, or in this case, pens, that come along that change the course of an industry forever. Waldmann, with the introduction of Dame of Swan Court, has done such a feat!
Waldmann and SEKRÈ International are proud to debut this new limited pen featuring pieces of a letter from Agatha Christie. Each box is custom-made to display the letter, bottle of ink, and pen in an incredible fashion. Each piece of this limited edition combines a distinctive and unique piece of writing culture and literary history. With these two pieces, every component is made of solid 925 sterling silver, including the clip, grip section, and cap band.
Only 38 fountain pen sets are available worldwide.
Please also note we are unable to accept a return of this pen for any reason once it has been used with ink. Please thoroughly inspect and dry test the pen before use.
From Waldmann:
More than ten different specialists were involved in the production of this fountain pen set, including precision mechanics, engravers, silversmiths, and carpenters. They have gained their in-depth knowledge over decades of professional activity and constantly refined it. This comprehensive know-how is passed on from generation to generation.
Developing this extraordinary fountain pen set took more than two years. The entire manufacturing process was tested again and again with different materials and processing methods. We were only prepared to start the actual realization in sterling silver after every detail had reached perfection. This means more than 130 work steps and a meticulous final inspection for each individual fountain pen.
Passion for perfection is what defines Waldmann's corporate DNA, with a tradition that goes back over a hundred years. It also characterizes the approach of our partners, who have been with us for many years. We believe that this is the only way to create high-end luxury made in Germany.
Opening a noble case is a magical moment that creates emotions. This is why the Dahlinger manufactory in the Black Forest was selected to design the case for this exclusive fountain pen set. The company, established in 1871, is now in its fifth generation of family ownership. The family is dedicated to crafting exclusive cases and gift boxes to perfection for luxury and high-quality lifestyle products.
We polish every single 18k gold nib by hand to achieve the best possible writing comfort. In addition, our fountain pens can be customized to the individual writer‘s style by grinding the nib. The standard nib shape (fine, medium, broad) is characterized by a rounded nib tip. This leads to an even writing pattern with a constant stroke width in any direction. Round-ground standard nibs are particularly versatile and suit a wide range of handwriting and writing styles.
Waldmann pens are made in Germany and come with a 10 year warranty.
