I was hoping the Monteverde 36 slot pen case would provide good storage for my collection of Monteverde pens. But Monteverde definitely cut corners in making this case. Three main problems: very tight loops, which make storing pens a hassle and will wear down the finish of pens over time; only one loop for each pen, meaning they wobble against each other and cause more friction; and the spine of the case is too tight, again forcing pens too close. A good enough case until I find something better, but I would not recommend.

Great product, but not deep enough for most pens. Also, the elastic bands are a bit too narrow.

This is the second one of this particular style case that I use to hold my collection of Chinese pens, and i've not had any issues with either case.

I really like how many pens this case holds; it's not fancy but so practical.

Perfect for what it is - a carrier for oodles of pens. I have a fancy schmancy wood display box for the "favorites" - but this is exactly what I needed for the rest of the tribe. Has a divider panel between both leaves to prevent the pens from rubbing against each other.
