This two-tone replacement LAMY 14k gold fountain pen nib will fit almost every currently manufactured LAMY fountain pen. Compatible models include the abc, Accent, Aion, AL-Star, CP1, Dialog 3, Imporium, Joy, Logo, LX, Nexx, Pur, Safari, Scala, Studio, and Vista.
These nibs are not compatible with the LAMY 2000.

The EF nib is extremely smooth, especially compared to the standard steel nib EF. I installed it on a Lamy AL-Star used for drawing with De Atramentis Document Ink. With this nib, the ink glides on the paper beautifully.
What a phenomenal nib. I own many LAMY nibs (F, M, B), and have been satisfied with all of them, as they serve different purposes. And then I received my LAMY 14K. Wow! My friend purchased the Lamy fine gold nib for me and the first one I received seemed to have a catch. Goulet, they are amazing and I'm a purist Goulet customer, replaced it and the new one is fabulous. Super smooth writing experience.
14k gold two-tone, extra-fine. Extremely smooth feel on the page. Writes with absolutely minimum of pressure. What I really love is the express it gives the strokes of my letters. I write in an architectural hand lettering style and this is so much fun to write with. Writing with the regular Lamy EF just looks plain. The gold EF has much much more character. Not because of any flex but because of the slightly wider horizontal lines. My other architect specific nibs demand a larger letter height than I prefer. This gold EF allows me to write at the size I prefer and still capture the expression of architectural style lettering.
