This BENU Talisman Lily of the Incas fountain pen features a pink and black resin base with holographic sparkles throughout. It has a silver Schmidt #6 stainless steel nib, a black resin grip and accents, a silver clip, and pushes to post. It comes with a standard international converter and one long blue ink cartridge. You can also fill the whole barrel with ink to use as an eyedropper pen with a massive ink capacity.

From BENU:

BENU introduces two new editions to its Talisman collection of pens – the Frankincense and the Lily of the Incas. Both substances have a long history of magical and ceremonial use that have inspired these new, exciting designs. The Lily of Incas, also known as Alstroemeria, originates from South America, where it was venerated as a divine gift bestowed by the God of the Sun. Although stemming from different parts of the the world, both substances are surrounded by numerous legends and myths. Drawing inspiration from these tales of yore, we set out to convey these stories not only in the color and style of each pen, but by infusing the namesake substances into each pen’s material.

We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, there will be some variation in the pattern seen here. This adds an element of uniqueness to the pen, with no two patterns being exactly the same. We cannot honor special requests.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use this pen with ink cartridges? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A cartridge is small, disposable, sealed plastic reservoir that holds fountain pen ink. These come pre-filled with ink, and typically you just push to insert them into place and you'll be ready to write!

This pen uses standard international ink cartridges, a common size which is available in many colors from various brands.

You can learn more about how to actually install an ink cartridge on our blog, or in this video tutorial:

How do I use a converter? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A converter goes in the place of where the ink cartridge would normally go. From there, you can fill your fountain pen from bottled ink.

A converter is a detachable and refillable ink reservoir that allows you to use bottled ink in a cartridge-accepting pen. Typically you will install the converter into the grip section, dip the nib/feed into the ink, and twist or pull the converter knob to draw ink into the converter.

We have a great video showing how to use a converter here:

How do I clean this fountain pen? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

It mostly comes down to flushing out the pen with water, and sometimes a little bit of pen flush if the ink is really stuck.

We put together a blog post with step-by-step instructions, or you can watch the video here:

We recommend a good cleaning every 2 weeks, and any time you change ink colors. Water will usually do the trick, but we recommend you use our Goulet Pen Flush if the ink has been left in the pen for a while and could have dried up, or when you’re switching ink colors.

Nice

My nicest looking pen. It’s most sparkle power brought to you by the ultimate shininess. Light and good quality. Beautiful shape. Doesn’t post securely. Beware. Rather thin girth. Nice for females, not for monsters hands. Schmidt nib is made to be pen like imo. But runs like a flood, this BENU… great for shimmer inks. Too pretty to take out or let other people use.

Stunning

Remarkable pen!! This pen is everything I'd hoped it would be. It's beautiful, and something every girl/woman would love. I haven't used a converter before, but how easy is it!! It also came with a cartridge as stated and very nicely packaged. I love the nib and it writes beautifully and smooth. It posts nicely as well and looks beautiful no matter where you lay it. LOL.,I don't think this is the last Talisman I'll be buying. Also once again, great packing Anita did a great job securing everything and I always appreciate the lollipops and the stickers!!
