Joker hahaha!

Why so serious? Purple/green with sparkles (remainds me of the Joker suit from Batman). 5/5 for reference i'm currently using Emerald of chivoir, Hades, RO black n blue (shake n shimmy), Jack Frost, and Blue Dragón glistering silver and this is My favorite of them all "Poison Envy"

A delight

This is a rich, dark, grape purple paired with generous pink/green shimmer. Some reviews say there is a yellow sheen, although I don't see it. This is a rarity among Ferris Wheel Press inks in that it is both well-flowing and completely legible. It is a little more prone to transferring glitter so be mindful of that if using it in a notebook. Very well-suited for the Halloween season, although such a fun ink that I will likely be reaching for it throughout the year. Far too much glitter to pair with a Sailor IMO (as pictured in the site photos), but works great in a medium BENU.

Beyond expectations

I originally bought the sample for Halloween and was so impressed I later bought a bottle. To me, numerically the cost of the bottle makes sense but it's still a bit expensive at the same time... however, I'm still new to all things fountain pen so maybe it really isn't bad... all I know is, regardless, this ink is exceptional! It gives that ghastly hue of green that makes you wonder if you actually saw it. Lol, it's just PERFECT for Halloween! At the same time, it's just so lovely I find it hard to restrict myself to use this seasonally. Go on - treat yourself; you won't regret it!

My New Favorite

Deep, rich purple that's as legible at a glance as dark black. Then the light hits it and it's suddenly shining green. Absolutely gorgeous; as another reviewer said, it makes me happy every time I look at it.

This ink makes me smile every time I look at it

Really loving this ink! Writing with an Estie Stub nib and the dark purple looks great on paper. Then you adjust the notebook and see the green sheen coming out and the shimmer on top. It's really great and makes me want to write more words every time!

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.

Is shimmering ink safe to use in fountain pens? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Yes! Shimmering ink (a fountain pen ink that has small particles of glitter mixed in) is a great way to add some flare to your writing. We have found that a larger nib will showcase more shimmering particles while writing, but you can use any nib size with shimmering ink. While it is safe to use in fountain pens, it may require a little extra maintenance.

Due to the amount of particulate in this ink used to achieve the sparking look, you may experience restricted ink flow in some of your pens, especially with finer nibs.

We recommend shaking the ink thoroughly before filling, and gently rolling the pen in your hands often to keep the shimmer effect consistent. This will also help prevent clogging.

You will also want to be diligent about regularly cleaning and maintaining your pen when using this ink.
