The ink is a great color and works fantastic with any pen. I can use it on the same page with black ink and still visually make out the difference.
This is a beautiful shade of blue for me, and works really well with the Lamy 2000 I also bought through Goulet. I will be purchasing all of my writing supplies from Goulet going forward. The Diamine Oxford Blue is really lovely, but also dark enough to read easily; the bottle is also exquisite and is, itself, a work of art. Works really well and "wet" (but not too wet...) with the Lamy 2000 fountain pen. A great blue from Diamine. I really like the flow; makes my signature look quite nice.
I felt this ink was the exact shade of blue I was seeking, dark, not blackish, and yet still discernible as blue. I'd recommend it for f/m, m, broad or stub nibs, as I found it lent to a toothy paper feel on finer nibs. It seems to dry quickly and overall I am happy with the purchase. I always have one pen inked with this.
