I am a lefty and this has been the best ink so far in terms of smudging. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional fast drying ink.

This product does exactly what it advertises - it dries quickly! Just know that the way quick drying inks work is it gets down into the paper as quick as possible and it will create feathering and a bold look...even with the finest of nibs! For the most part on all paper types. If you want something that dries quickly, has minimal feathering and a little bit deeper black - Noodlers Bulletproof Black is a good all around ink. I can see why if you are a lefty, the Brevity/Bernanke Black might be a good option though.

This ink dries very quickly, which is perfect for preventing ink-smears in side-writing and over-writing left-handers. It has a decent amount of shading and stroke width variation. It puts out a hefty amount of ink on downstrokes. Water removes the ink easily, but this is a benefit, as ink stains come off the fingers, and any where else, easily. The one star removed is due to a tendency to feather on some types of paper.

I have enjoyed using this ink, my first foray into using a fountain pen. I followed your suggestions for lefties and have been so satisfied!
