Celadon Cat

I put it in a flex nib pen and it provides really nice shading while being a soft, easy-on-the-eyes color. It’s a pleasant ink to write with and an interesting shade of grey/green/blue. It’s also good in non flex nib pens. It’s a little bit lighter in person than the photo I attached.

Everyday ink

I use this ink everyday in my Sailor TUZU. It's a beautiful and subtle blue/grey/green/I don't really know what to call it, but it's fabulous and makes me happy. A little light if you have difficulty seeing.

A very dry ink

I find the color of this ink fascinating in fact, I voted on it in the reddit bracket. BUT this ink is so dry that it is unusable. I tried it in multiple pens, finally putting it in a pen with an ebonite feed and a broad nib (properly heat-set), and it still could not flow consistently. I'm really highly disappointed. A good reminder of buying ink samples before full bottles....

Amazing!!

my daughter is a fountain pen fanatic. She loves the Diamine Celadon Cat ink I got her. I may even get a bottle for myself!

Diamine Celadon Cat

Wonderful ink! It's a light ink on the page, but that works just fine for me. The color is gorgeous, and true to what is shown. Medium-ish shading on Rhodia paper. Overall, it will become a new standard in my collection, though perhaps not for everyday use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
