The Sailor Compass Hocoro dip pen allows you to enjoy a wide variety of fountain pen ink colors without the conventional messy fuss. The Hocoro is designed with ease in mind. After using, simply rinse the nib with water and wipe it dry, and you're ready to switch to the next ink color!

This Fine steel nib unit has a blue accent. It does not include the pen barrel or the optional attachable ink reservoir; both are available separately.

Sailor Compass "Hocoro" Dip Pens are available in five different steel nib sizes (Fine, Medium, 1.0mm Calligraphy, 2.0mm Calligraphy, and Fude), each with a different color accent. You can purchase spare nibs or barrels to mix and match to your heart's content, allowing you to explore and enjoy a multitude of inks and expression styles.

What's more, the Hocoro Dip Pens are compatible with any type of fountain pen inks and various other types of inks. This means you can use the inks you already love with your new Hocoro pen!

More inks than pens! Solution: Hocoro!

I have way more inks than fountain pens, and as well shimmer inks, glistening inks, pigment inks and iron gall inks. For most of those not in fountain pens or hesitant to put in fountain pens, I just use the Hocoro with the additional feed. It's smooth, never skips and is really nice to draw with. Also, it takes me up to 20 minutes to clean certain fountain pens when switching inks, verses 20 seconds to clean the Hocoro...hmmm. I'll go with the Hocoro!

Great, perfect as a flight-safe fountain pen with a bottle of ink and a feed

Overall, I bought this to use as a fp I could bring on an airplane to journal when I travel, along with either a bottle of ink or a little black watercolor pan. In that, it's absolutely perfect. A bit scratchy, but the Sailor nibs run that way. It's one of four Hocoro nibs I have, and I'm glad I bought all of them.

I LIKE this nib!

Got this one in the mail and just had to try it out right away! Used the "reservoir" that came in my Fude nib, and put it in some ink. LOVE the way this one writes compared with the others! Of course, I am a fan of fine nibs on about every pen.
