Started off with Moleskine, went to Leuchtturm, and then Rhodia, but they all felt a bit cheap. This is hands down the sturdiest A5 with the best quality paper I have used for journaling.

Do okay, I use digital gadgets for most of my note-taking but now and then, I just have to use my fountain pens. This notebook is absolutely lovely. The paper is, of course, perfection. The cover has a handy pocket inside, and the elastic closure make this easy carry, use, and stash. I'm very happy wit it snd might order some more.

I absolutely love the Clairefontaine Basic Essential Notebooks! I've purchased quite a few this past year. The paper is smooth, durable, and so beautiful. It looks unassuming at first, but it's such a wonderful notebook. Especially for a notebook snob like me.

I've been using these for quite some time, and I am so glad Goulet carries them! The cream-colored paper is thick and smooth enough for any of my fountain pens, but it also stands up to charts and doodles that I draw with my Tombow Dual Brush watercolor pens. The books have everything needed--index pages at the front, numbered pages, and a few perforated pages at the back. There's a bookmark, and the softcover notebook closes with a sturdy elastic. Anyone looking for a fountain pen-friendly notebook that's sturdy and useful should seriously consider getting one of these.

I like the dot grid as allows me to have freedom to do what I want on the page without feeling restricted. The paper is really smooth and there is no ghosting so I can use both sides of the paper. The bookmark lets me keep track of where I left off. Having numbered pages is nice too!
