This compact BENU Pixie pocket fountain pen features a chatoyant royal blue resin body. It has a silver Schmidt #5 stainless steel nib, a clipless compact design with a screw-cap, and pushes to post.

It comes with a blue standard international short ink cartridge. You can also fill the whole barrel with ink to use as an eyedropper pen with a larger ink capacity. A mini standard international converter (such as the Kaweco foldable converter) is available for purchase separately.

We do our best to photograph the pens to show how they will appear in person, but due to the nature of the material, there will be some variation in the pattern seen here. This adds an element of uniqueness to the pen, with no two patterns being exactly the same. We cannot honor special requests.

From BENU:

Introducing the Pixie Collection — a new line of pens that is likely one of the smallest fountain pens currently in production. Compact in size, yet comfortable to write with when the cap is posted, this pen is a true marvel in the world of pocket-sized fountain pens.

Extensively tested before its launch, the Pixie strikes the balance between petite aesthetics and ergonomics, ensuring it is suitable for long writing sessions despite its compact size.

The collection features eight vibrant, signature BENU color combinations, as well as three pens in classic, understated colors designed for those drawn to the charm of compact pens yet preferring a more subtle style than the daring designs BENU is known for.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use this pen with ink cartridges? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

A cartridge is small, disposable, sealed plastic reservoir that holds fountain pen ink. These come pre-filled with ink, and typically you just push to insert them into place and you'll be ready to write!

This pen uses standard international ink cartridges, a common size which is available in many colors from various brands.

You can learn more about how to actually install an ink cartridge on our blog, or in this video tutorial:

How do I clean this fountain pen? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

It mostly comes down to flushing out the pen with water, and sometimes a little bit of pen flush if the ink is really stuck.

We put together a blog post with step-by-step instructions, or you can watch the video here:

We recommend a good cleaning every 2 weeks, and any time you change ink colors. Water will usually do the trick, but we recommend you use our Goulet Pen Flush if the ink has been left in the pen for a while and could have dried up, or when you’re switching ink colors.

For even more information about fountain pen cleaning, check out our Fountain Pen 101 video blog post.
