Blue with a purple sheen that is faintly satiny. Purple predominates using a dip pen. Type of paper affects outcome.
I use Diamine ink in one of my fountain pens with beautiful results. I tried this color for use in an Edison Herald, fine nib with italic cursive grind. This ink started out writing well. But after the pen sat overnight (as usual for how I work) the nib dried out. After I got it started again, the nib would just dry out after a word or two. I tried thoroughly cleaning the pen (twice), using a different brand (which worked great), and returning to this ink. Same results 3 times.
Great color with interesting sheen

I filled this into my new pelikan marble blue and it writes so smooth and is just the perfect blue I wanted. It got a little messy but If you do get it on your skin just use the bristle of a sponge and try this sanitizer. Comes right up Omg I love this.
