50ml Bottle

50ml glass bottle of Pilot Iroshizuku Sui-gyoku emerald green fountain pen ink.

Sui-gyoku (翠玉), translated as Emerald, is inspired by the deep green shine in a highly precious, esteemed emerald gemstone.

The name Iroshizuku is a combination of the Japanese words Iro, 色彩 (Coloring), expressing high standards and variation of colors, and Shizuku, 雫 (Droplet), that embodies the very image of dripping water. Each ink name derives from the expressions of beautiful Japanese natural landscapes and plants, all of which contribute to the depth of each individual hue.

These gorgeous Iroshizuku inks have been inspired by beautiful Japanese environments. Each Iroshizuku ink comes in an elegant, handblown 50ml glass bottle with a detailed dip for your fountain pen nib to rest easily in while filling.

Unique green

Very happy with this new color. I have a lot of aquas. This tilts toward green. It's lovely. More sophisticated than Diamine Marine.

Great cool-green

First off, it's an Iroshizuku ink so you know it's going to be well-behaved and well-rounded overall. You can't go wrong with these inks, generally speaking. As for the color, I'm not sure why there's not more enthusiasm for Sui-gyoku. I find it to be a very interesting color --not quite a standard green, not quite teal. I think of it almost like a wintergreen or maybe a cool peppermint. It's really quite nice. I have a Pilot 912 Soft-Fine (great pen) and it shades really nicely in that nib on Tomoe River paper. Do yourself a favor and at least try a sample of this color. You may be surprised!

Pilot ink sui-gyoku

I love using the pilot ink i feels nice to write with, and is pleasing to read. i will say the color advertised is a little brighter and more green then what is shown.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
