Not what I thought it was. Starts in January and seems to be configured as five years on one page. This is not at all the way I would write memories or anything else. Good quality paper and book otherwise.

This notebook is beautiful and well designed. I selected the rich and colorful Forest Green color. Unfortunately, I can not address the feathering, bleed through and texture of the paper since not having the opportunity to document my daily activities as of yet. However, as a newcomer I have found the Goulet Pen Company to be outstanding! Their website layout is well done, the pricing of their products is fair, and the packaging of ordered items is second to none. The artistic and photographic displays are phenomenal! Kudos to all the staff! The Goulet Pen Company Blog with Brian Goulet and Drew Brown is noteworthy. I have found their product reviews to be very informative, educational and entertaining to say the least. Both individuals have a wealth of knowledge regarding fountain pens and various inks. I will continue to conduct business with the Goulet Pen Company and highly recommend them!

Since I bought this as a gift, I will give my reasons. My son is in grad school and starting to work in his chosen career. I thought it would be very interesting for him to keep a short journal of his activities as time progresses and he could look back on accomplishments, failures, etc. I also sent him a Lamy Safari and some cartridges to get him started. He loved it.
