A Proper Ink for a person looking for a Green color

I found the "Green" color I was looking for in this ink :)

Great Color and Great Dry Time

I purchased this because I liked the color and it was rated to have a decent dry time. I can confirm that it has both a great color and dries rather quickly. I'll probably be purchasing a bottle in the future.

Green!!

very prone to spread and bleed. only works well on Tomoe River Paper but it's the only nice permanent green I know and it's a beautiful rich true green. It's the kinda green you learn is green in grade school very classic color

spreads

Maybe I got a bad batch? but Hunter is by far the most ill-behaved ink I've tried. Writing with a Pilot Metro (fine), it spread like crazy on a Rhodia dot pad and Clairefontaine, making a line at least twice as thick as anything else I've tried, and it looked like it was going to bleed through if I kept writing with it. Like writing with some kind of ooze. Totally unusable for me. Green Marine behaved much better, despite a pretty slow dry time.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I fill my fountain pen from an ink sample vial? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

The technique depends on the fountain pen's filling mechanism.

Check out our blog post on How to Fill a Fountain Pen from an Ink Sample Vial, or watch the video here:

How much writing can I really do with 2ml? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

We find that usually you can get 2 good fills for a typical converter with our ink samples, or one good fill with a large capacity piston-filling pen.

How much writing you can do depends on you more than anything else. It mostly depends on how big or small you write, and the nib size you’re using. We recommend experimenting with different nib sizes to find what works best for you.
