I am a huge fan of writing on off-white/ivory A4 paper. I often write letters on this paper but fail to find a proper envelope. I end up using one of those store-brand security envelopes (you know the ones I mean) and while it does the job, it is just not that classy. G. Lalo envelopes offer the perfect solution to the issue of finding an elegant, tasteful envelope for letters written on A4 paper. Just fold your letter in thirds and place in the envelope. No need to get a paper cut on your tongue, these are self sealing!! Also these are very durable and can handle a wax seal if that's your taste. The only downside to these is that the paper is VERY rough!! You will have some issues writing on these with fountain pen (or any pen for that matter), as the bumps and grooves in the paper will cause skipping and problems starting. Despite this eccentricity, once you do get the ink on the paper, it will dry fairly quick and in my experience, will not feather. Overall, highly recommended! Just be prepared for a heavily textured paper that will make writing with fountain pen a bit challenging. Because of this trait in the paper, I give these lovely envelopes 4 out of 5 stars.
