I got this set as a gift for someone who loves to dabble in calligraphy. They used the set and loved it. They also let me try the 1.1 mm nib, and it wrote really well. I might have to get another of these sets for myself, now that I have tried one of the nibs.

3 nibs, 1 pen body. The Perkeo is a well made pen with 3 smooth stub nibs. 1.1, 1.5 & 1.9. As one reviewer has noted, the 3 nibs write a little narrower than other pens with the same nib size designation. I haven't used the 1.9 nib yet, but I can say that the 1.1 is a joy to write with. It gives your writing a bit of line variation flair and is suitable for everyday handwriting. Just fill it with ink and start writing.

The 1.5 nib works really well for italic handwriting and the pen body is very comfortable to use. The triangular grip is not at all obtrusive -- it does help to hold the pen at the right angle for italic writing. But, you can hold it pretty much any way you choose.

Because I prefer choosing my own inks, I bought the standard international converter as suggested along with the pen. It works like a charm and the ink flow is great.

I have several stub nib pens from Goulet, including their own #6 branded stub nibs fitted into Jinhao pens and a #5 stub fitted into into a Magnum Diplomat. All good! My TWSBI stubs write even more butter smoothly than the Perkeo, but the Perkeo nibs do write smoothly and the value is terrific.

These are a great addition to any collection. Write very well and are worth every cent.

I use this pen with the ink adapter and the wide/italic head. It's my new favorite! Good quality, comfortable, and a great price. Definitely recommend.
