I don’t really know how elderberries are supposed to smell like but I like the ink

I bought this mostly because I was excited to try out a scented ink. The color on this ink is absolutely beautiful and worth the purchase for that alone. The ink has a light floral scent, but once it is on paper doesn't last long.

I've been using this ink for a while now. I think it's got a great colour and it behaves nicely even on cheap paper (though I recommend you use a fine or very fine nib size). It has a faint sweet scent that I wish was a bit longer lasting on paper, but I think the scent is more of a bonus rather than a defining feature.

I love the color, and it writes nice and smooth. I was using it in my Jinhao Shark Pen and it wrote beautifully. As far as the scent goes, it was not as strong as I was hoping. Overall, the scent is nice when you your smell it straight from the sample bottle, but you can't really smell it when you write with it. I wish it was as strong as the cherry scented ink.

Great color! Almost the same as color as noodles back swan in English rose, although that is a bit more brown, and slightly more shading and a bit of a raised surface with a a nib. I love the elderberry scent it really natural smelling, but after two weeks the scent is much more faint. I think this is a lovely rich color.
