Platinum Carbon Black - 60ml Bottled Ink
This waterproof, pigment-based carbon ink is highly regarded by artists, and is a standard for ink-washing and mixed media work where you need to draw a line that will later be washed overtop.
Caution: Pigmented inks are intended for use in fountain pens, though they require more diligent maintenance and should not be left to dry out in a pen. It is best to clean it from your pen at least once a week to prevent clogging. Certain pens may handle pigmented inks better than others.

Flawless ink, I use it with a sailor de fude and a twsbi eco.
I spent a lot of time looking for a good black ink for my first fountain pen. It took me time to realize it indeed is waterproof- I just had to wait for it to completely dry before highlighting or using any other ink over it. It is pretty dry after 5 minutes but I would wait at a minimum of 10+ minutes to be safe! Besides that, the ink flows beautifully through my TWSBI Eco and is the perfect amount of black! I write on Tomoe River Paper and it’s a match made in heaven.
I love the Platinum Carbon Black Ink. The color is dark and it doesn't make a ghost print on the opposite page of the spread when I close my sketchbook. I do leave my sketchbook open for a bit to make sure it's dry, but that's probably a habit from other inks that were printing on the opposite page- that has never happened to me with the platinum carbon black. I use this ink in my Platinum Plaisir, Platinum Meteor and Sailor Fude.
Requires fairly frequent pen cleaning but was found to be very water resistant! Great for addressing envelops
I used this ink in my TWSBI Eco EF nib pen, for drawing. I loved it until one day it started randomly leaving blobs of ink on the page. This messed up a few of my drawings so I had to look elsewhere for a good waterproof black drawing ink.
