I’m new to the world of good fountain pens and have much to learn . I wondered about how ink would last since my only reference point is an old Sheaffer cartridge fountain pen . Those cartridges seemed to get good mileage and I was happy so this three ounce bottle of Noodler’s ink looks like it would fill several dozen of those cartridges . That’s a good value . The ink is black , black , blacker than black and looks good on paper . One other thing I like , small matter though it be , is that it comes in a glass jar . Isn’t there enough plastic in the world ?
Look no further. This is deep black and witchy. Perfect for Halloween invites, formal invitations, or for drawing with a fine-line pen. Noodler's inks are always waterproof (wear gloves when you fill them so you don't spend half an hour removing it with alcohol and water) Love this Brand
I will never recommend this ink. It is so dry the ink looks washed out and grey on the page if you use anything more than a fine. The ink is dry as a bone and my nib literally squeaks on the page, not a feedback kind of scratch but a squeak. It doesn’t like coming out of demonstrator pens either. Overall I’d give it 0/5 stars. Don’t buy.
As a cartoonist, I've always been EXTREMELY particular about my ink. This was the PERFECT one for me! Very opaque, drying time isn't to bad, cheap, and just nice overall. Would recommend if you are an artist..
