Nib Guide

Not sure which size nib is best for you?

Try our Nib Nook tool to view and compare nib widths using our writing samples. Learn more ›

Polished stainless steel #5 nib, made in Germany by JoWo and engraved with the original Goulet Pens “GP” ink splatter logo. This nib will fit most fountain pens that accept a #5 size nib; the feed and housing are not included.

We are unable to install our nibs on any pens when you order. We’re authorized dealers for all the products we carry, and changing out parts of a pen with another brand’s nib (even our own) voids the warranty on that pen. You will need to do this yourself, though you can reference our video or email us if you have any questions about it.

jinhao + goulet nib = daily writer

Excellent. I'd bought a jinhao 92 & wasn't happy with the nib performance. I swapped the nib for a goulet #5 & am much happier now & use this pen almost daily at my job. Thanks!

Even better than expected

Put the medium nib in a Jinhao 82 and could not be happier. The pen went from unacceptable to terrific. Thank you Goulet!

Fits perfectly in my Fonte!

I got a Komamono Lab Fonte pen as part of a goodie bag at a fountain pen event, but I am not a huge fan of fine nibs and have a lot of them anyway. I switched out the Fonte's nib for the stub version of this one. It fits perfectly and writes like a dream. I'm having so much fun writing with it now.

I bought a Titanium fountain pen from Bastion, is a great pen but the nib is too dry so a changed it for Goulet's #5 nib, and now writes like butter.
