I recently purchased a bottle of Diamante Writer's Blood and was pleased with the richness of color, so I went searching Goulet Pens for something like it, but in blue, Noodler's Bad Blue Heron was just what I was looking for, Rich color, A nice writing experience. The ink arrived quickly and undamaged. So far it has performed very well on a variety of papers with minimal if any bleeding or feathering.

I bought this to use in an extra fine TWSBI ECO for work on less than optimal paper and it works like a dream. The ink dries quickly enough that after filling out what I need I can fold the paper and not worry about smudges. And it's blue so is work appropriate regardless of the job.

Plays well with cheap office paper. Good color match to Platinum Procyon - Deep Sea. The bottle was filled very full, which ensured the value of the product but made a mess all over my fingers when carefully opening the bottle for the first couple refills.

This is a very wet ink. With a Fine nib, it writes more like a broad. I also find that it dries to a lighter color than it initially goes down on the paper. Also seeing quite a bit of nib creep, as others have mentioned. Still, a pleasant color and the water resistance is great.
