This 30ml glass bottle of Jacques Herbin Rouille d'Ancre pink fountain pen ink is elegantly labeled and has an integrated pen rest. Jacques Herbin ink is non-toxic and pH neutral, water based, flows smoothly, and uses all natural dyes.
Rouille d’ancre (Rusty anchor red): this color also refers to the journeys of Herbin, when traveling at sea. This color comes from the rust found on the anchor of the boats when moored in one location for a very long time.

I love everything about this ink. I go through it more quickly than any ink. As a lefty, I enjoy that it doesn't smudge as much as some. The color is extremely soothing to me. I loved my standard sepia ink, but wanted something a little less drab. This is a rosy color with the hints of nostalgic sepia undertones. I use it for lists and Journaling.
I do prefer it with a bit more substantial nib. I don't think it would be great with a fine tip. Medium is my recommendation.

It's a beautiful ink but I wouldn't put it in a pen smaller than a medium. The formula is a bit dry but I'm fine with that. If you like unique colors this will be right up your alley.
I ordered the sample for my partner and she really liked it!! I'm glad we got to try it out first with the sample! This ink is a beautiful rose gold color and works great for journaling and writing letters. The ink bottle is also nice and the ink looks really pretty in her Rose Gold TWSBI ECO :)
