Great ink

Great ink, a little more bluish gray than silver gray. Darker than silver. Great color and ink though.

Austerely beautiful ink

I bought this ink expecting a graphite gray, which I like very much. But, on a whim, I didn't ink one of the XF, F-nib pens I usually use, but rather a medium cursive italic. And what I got wasn't graphite, but a stunning blue-grey. I've checked reviews on other sites, and what I've found is that when swabbed or dripped onto paper, this ink has much more blue than it does when laid down with a medium or finer nib. When laid down with a cursive italic on my usual Clairefontaine paper, this ink has a chilly, austere, serious look to it. I use it at work all the time. I have only about 30 bottles of ink in my office, but of those 30, I use this one and Akkerman Delft Blue about 90 percent of the time. I use it only in a couple of pens with italic nibs because it doesn't show up as well with a fine nib, so those pens have become my de facto favorite pens. No matter. I love this ink.

A very pretty ink- it flows well, and dries quickly. It's probably my second favorite ink. No more smears in my bullet journal!

Beautiful ink

This ink flows very smoothly and evenly in my Lamy LX (extra fine nib). The color is as I expected thanks to the swatches shown on the product page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which pens can accept this ink? 8EDA1617-F73A-4DAF-8245-6D2BF4ABEB7B

Any of these fountain pens will work with bottled ink. Typically, as long as the pen can be filled with a converter, has a built-in filling mechanism like a piston, or can be eyedropper-filled, it can accept bottled ink. You can also refill an empty ink cartridge from bottled ink using an ink syringe.
