After i tried almost every water resistant red ink (Platinum \ Sailor \ De Atramentis \ R&K \ Noodler's \ ...) in this crazy world, Noodler's Fox Red, is the most well balanced. The others are not satureted or not water resistant enough or not good-looking. Noodler's Esenin is good too but it has a little feathring. Noodler's Tsvetayeva is too dark with feathring. I collect more than 4 oz from here and there. That should supply all my life.

Love the color and saturation. Took away a star simply because it takes slightly longer to dry than my impatient self would like. I’d buy it again anyway!

Great color. Not too dark nor too light. Flows easy, doesn't feather, dries quickly.

After reading reviews here and elsewhere, I purchased a bottle primarily for the waterproof qualities; it's a shade I thought I'd like but I'd never used a red ink so I was unsure. Now, after using it for a couple of weeks, it's my favorite ink. Flows well (TWSBI), looks great (index cards, Rhodia goal book), and easy to read � easier than the blues I'd been using with enough but not too much contrast. I'm willing to say that it even helps me think because of this balance, to my eyes at least. Truly worth a try, even if you've never fancied a red for daily writing.

I've used Noodler's Fox Red for years. My favorite archival, bullet-proof red ink. Will continue to use to the end of my days.
